VPIRG works on a wide range of issues where the public interest is at risk from the undue influence of well-monied, powerful special interests. We believe in supporting common sense policies that provide the greatest good for the greatest number for the longest time. We are non-partisan, meaning that we do not favor or endorse any political party or candidate. We will provide periodic voting scorecards to help Vermonters hold their representatives accountable. While we work primarily on state-level issues, we will work on federal policies from time to time, most often in coordination with our national partners at USPIRG.
